To get rid of this asap?
Today was day 3 already. Been pushing a lot of pedialyte so b'H not at risk for dehydration.
BRAT diet is not an option as won't eat this stuff.
Should I give chamomile tea? what can calm down and stop the diarrhea?

Ped GI recommends florastor. Mix into whatever she’ll drink 2-3x a day and soon her gi system will be back to normal

Specifically florastor?
She gets kefir daily (we stopped culturelle per h/o & don't know if florastor is ok...) but held it the last few days because didn't want to aggravate her system.

Yes. By name. It’s supposed to reset everything. Works for us

Florastor uses the probiotic strain saccharomyces boulardii. Saccharomyces boulardii is very helpful in treating diarrhea. There are other companies that make it too.

Would definitely NOT give a 2 year old Pepto Bismol.
I recommend trying the Florastor as well.

is she toilet trained yet- if not, put corn starch in her diaper, it helps ease diaper rash.

Thanks. Poor kid. its pretty much under control- though still painful & so red... we have a whole barrier method to this- cavalon, stoma powder, zinc cream & more stoma powder.

Re the diaper rash, my pediatrician told us to use liquid mylanta mixed with corn starch. It worked wonders!

The rash might be fungal or yeast at this point & need a different type of cream.

Oy - the poor little one :-(
Have you checked with your doctor? You can try crackers, saltines. Maybe toast? Try also ginger ale or chamomile tea if there's stomach pain as well (no idea what effect those might have on the diarrhea).
Years ago a doctor told me that milk put on the skin could help with very bad diaper rashes (helps to heal the skin). Sounded crazy, but it worked.

Refuah shelaima | bh the rash is under control. It wasn’t rash like actually, more just irritation. This method we use is very protective.
