I once did a milchig chanuka party since there is a custom to eat milchig.
I made mini 4" pizzas and made a face on them using olives for eyes and piping ketchup for mouth.
Voila, Heliforni pizza!

Don’t know about fun but I find pasta (baked ziti, lasagna, penne a la vodka)usually goes well with kids around. A plus is if you leave some without anything on it so the really picky eaters can eat that.

depending on your level of patchke: salad bar, soup, latkes, mini pizzas, fettucini Alfredo, baked ziti (and plain pasta), salmon, popcorn cauliflower, veggie platter with dip for the kids.

I like making chicken stuffed latkes. I shred potatoes, season them and throw an egg in. I coat te chicken and fry. It's a big hit.

Can you explain a little more? You coat chicken in latke batter and fry? What kind of chicken?

I was imagining latkes with shredded chicken in the batter too.

Think schnitzel, but latka batter instead of bread crumbs. I pound the boneless chicken breasts thinly and then coat them in the latka batter and fry.
