Go on a drive together and listen to some good music. Get a bunch of new books from the library and read together with a nice cup of tea. Go through a new cookbook, trying out the yummiest looking recipes. Visit the local art museum. Bundle up and go on a long walk. Involve them in housework, like decluttering.
These are things I do with my own teens. I plan on doing at least one activity a day and then I hope that they'll busy themselves the rest of the time. But, yes, they get bored during school breaks. Such is life. It won't kill them.
