Any ideas how I can explain the siyum hashas to my kindergarten class (4 year old boys) on their level? I don't know that much about it myself lol! And how may people will be there? Is there a live hookup that I can show the class for a few minutes?

There is a live hookup
I don’t know how to connect though
My shul is doing a live hook up, in Miami
BTW- super sunny 75 degrees. Just sayin.
Let them know that the men finished learning the whole Gemara.
If you have a school library go and show them how many volumes it is.
1 page at a time.
When we finish we make a big party to thank Hashem for the Torah and being able to learn it Being Jewish is so special because we have the Torah
Explain that the Gemara helps us understand how to do Mitzvos.
Give an example they can understand like how to celebrate Sukkot- how do we know how to build a kosher sukkah, etc.
It’s all written in the Gemarah.
Read a story from the Gemarsh. I think there’s a kids book like that
Maybe make Mazal Tov signs since this is a big deal for Am Yisrael.
Turn it into an Aleph Bet lesson. Read the letters from a Gemara page.
When they get bigger they’ll actually be able to learn that same page.
Turn it into a math lesson - bring in 7 1/2 calendars and try to count each day.
1st count Thirty days
Then count months in a year
Then count years
Figure out when the next Siyum HaShas will be and how old they will be
Geography- show them that all around the world Jews learn siyum hashas and are celebrating together
Most of all show the kids how exciting it is.
This they do understand
And bring them a sweet treat so they connect Torah to sweetness.

The Lakewood Scoop and YWN both said there will be streaming.
The live hookups may be too late for the class. It's not starting until 1pm.
YouTube has videos of last siyum. 12 min or so of dancing. I showed my kids. It included dancing footage from Mexico City, Santiago, maybe Melbourne, Israel. It helped my kids see the global.

cbg, what a great answer!
And OP, by now your class might be familiar with the concept of siyum, especially if they were in school last year, after finishing sefer Bereishis, Shmos, etc.
