Does anyone know about lodging at Johns Hopkins if a person would need to stay nearby over Shabbos? Are there apartments nearby? Who would one contact about this?
Chabad is too far away (they've already been contacted).

I don't know what your budget is, but there is a hotel on the Hopkins Hospital campus. There is also a Ronald McDonald House nearby.
You may be able to sleep in the patient's room too.

I ended up staying at the Rockwell house, about a block from the hospital. It was difficult to stay in the room because I wasn't able to find out the room number until after he was in recovery - which was after Shabbos has started.
Thank G-d, everything went smoothly. Luckily, he was on the second floor and an aid helpfully showed me how to get there via the staircase (it was a roundabout route).
