To clarify, he was not the NIRC R"Y when he wrote the book, but I just wanted you to have the proper chashivus when you read it Smile

Good question. I read the whole book and asked myself the same thing.

I think it’s billed as the Vina Gaon’s thoughts on Gemara.

Maybe others got more out of it than I did. It wasnt' bad, I'm just not sure what it was trying to prove.

It's got a lot of English translation of gemaras and explantions about then. Some people lik that.

I thought it was the Vilna Gaon's explanations of Agaditta (that spelling looks wrong, sorry) in the Gemara. Confused
