Is there a way to kasher an oven without self cleaning? I hate the toxic smells that come out when its on self clean.

Yes. Clean it very well. Then kasher the oven at 550 for 40 minutes.

Clean it out well and turn it on 550 for 45 minutes-an hour.

Thank you. Also found out that you can put on high broil for an hour after cleaning it well.

Please ask a rav. I was told you cannot properly kasher an oven for pesach and if you don’t have a self clean oven you need to use an insert.
It’s different from milchig to fleishig.

2 decades ago, before we personally had self-cleaning ovens, we would buy a small blow torch and go over every inch of the oven this way. It's very labor-intensive, but it never smelled as bad as the self-clean cycle.
Other methods I see people mentioning, turning the oven on hi or broil for a some period, were never acceptable as per our own rabbis and I know many hold the same. BUT with many leniencies in place this year it is worth asking your own rabbi if you may do it.

I strongly advise against this unless your oven manufacturer says it's ok. I have a close friend who broiled something for a long time and it ended up frying the digital controls and she had to replace her oven.
