We own hundreds of Jewish books and want to begin a formal hone library in our community... we have a sponsor to help us with start up costs but looking for info on approx how much money we would need monthly, to purchase new books, repair old ones and any thing else that may come up.
If anyone has experience or knowledge that could help me out, I would greatly appreciate.
Thanks

I can’t give you exact numbers, but I live in a community with one so I can tell you some things they needed:
A computer program and available laptops to check books in and out.
Stickers to label books by category to shelve properly.
Some method of stamping due dates in the book (ours uses post-it’s on th back cover.
Think about hours and if you need volunteers to help out.
