I thought I remember reading on this forum about starting a imamother cookbook. Just wondering if it is happening? I find it a very good idea.

I'm willing to start the project... send me the recipes and I'll try them or have someone else try them and start organizing them...

One member supposedly started it and was working on it already. I wonder what happened?

im doin it!!! takes a very long time to sort thru and find recipes that are not from cookbooks. anybody who wants something special included in the cookbook is free to PM me the recipes! that would make it a bit easier. hang in there. it'll happen!

just curious, why is it different to have one's recipe in print for the pubic as opposed to posted on a public website?

which recipes wud be included? ppl's personal favorites, or do they have to pass some sort of imamother taste test?
(hmmm. that wud actually be cool- each week, whoever thinks they have the best recipe for xyz will post it, we'll all try it and then weigh in afterwards... kind of like a cook off, and we'd do this for each major category (ie: best chicken soup, best veg. kugel, etc)- tho I guess it would be too time consuming, oh well...

lol actualy I was talking to a friend about this today but if someone is really doing it I wont bother... but my thought was each recipe should be tested by a few ppl... so I was thinking it should be posted and tried and voted on.... could have been fun oh well...

I think it was originally to raise money for the website, am I mistaken?

Everyone can rate recipes they tried that are posted, gather them all together and see which one is the best tested by the judges!
