I’ve caused my baby trauma and I feel horrible about it. When he was very little, and his older sibling would misbehave, I would leave the baby in a safe area while going to deal with the older one, helping remove him from the situation and do calm down/timeout. Now, anytime I raise my voice or say certain words, my baby runs to me crying, afraid I’m about to ditch him. It’s the saddest thing.

1. Any ideas on how to “untraumatize” this poor child?
2. Suggestions on how to deal with these scenarios in the future when baby #3 comes Beezrat HaShem? I have a rather challenging oldest who can display defiant behavior that needs a lot of attention to get out of that zone and calm down
