I have a gown in storage that I will iyH be using in a couple of months for a wedding.
1) how long before the wedding should I take it to the seamstress for a fitting?
2) should I send it to the cleaners before I go for alterations?

Try it on about 2 months before. Send it to the cleaners after alterations.
