Yes, just make sure not to overtake it.
Sorry, I don't have the exact time that it has to be baked.
Happy baking ๐

Chocolate and Vanilla Marble Cake
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 sticks margarine
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 cup pareve milk
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 chocolate syrup
1 tsp baking soda
Mix flour, baking powder, and salt together in one bowl. In another bowl, cream margarine with sugar and then mix in eggs. Once combined, stir in the pareve milk and vanilla. Add in the dry ingredients while mixing.
Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix chocolate syrup with baking soda.
Pour 2/3 of the batter into a pan. Add the chocolate syrup mixture to the last 1/3 of the batter. Pour the chocolate batter over the vanilla batter and swirl with toothpick or knife.
Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Lightly cover with foil and allow to bake for an additional 20-25 minutes.
Works great in a greased tube pan but also works nicely in a 9x13!

I havenโt heard of this tradition but it sounds fun! Can you elaborate?

Probably in reference to the joke:
What kind of cake did they eat on Noah's ark?
Mabul cake! (Marble, mabul, I see what you did there!)

Could this be made in a 9x13?
