I'm not sure excatly how but you can make a sorbet which you don't need cream for. you probably don't need much more then the berries, sugar and water or ice cubes
google for a berry sorbet recipe. A few come up

I have a really yummy berry pie that I make, but it needs a bit more than 1 bag of berries.
4 cups of already defrosted berries (I normally do 1½ strawberry, 2
raspberry, ½ blueberry - just the way I like it) with most of liquid
drained
about 2/3 (two-thirds) c. sugar
about 3/4 (three-quarters) c. flour
mix together. put in pie crust (most like it better in graham cracker. original recipe was in covered pie crust)
Bake at 425 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
Everyone likes it dif. textures, etc. so to get it the way you will like, you may want to change it a bit. My sister does it very watery , the way the original recipe said. I made it thicker, so that it's easier to slice, neater, and not mushy crust.
