DH and I, just to spend a light day together, nothing over the top.

We love walking. Or a drive in the car. The weather will be clouds and coolish....

Any good ideas?

Yes, Prospect park has a walking path, around the lake and around the park. Colors of trees are gorgeous. It is very safe with lots of walkers and bikers. Botanic Garden and Zoo are also right there. You can call to inquire about entrance at this time.
