There is an excellent Asian salon in Queens that I went to for years before I got married.
I did it there for about 6 years and only had good experiences. The one time that I went somewhere else, my hair ended up all dry and brittle.

I would stay away from Japanese it ruined my hair for a few years. Look into Keratin or Magic Sleek.

Op please look into oxo organic. I just found out about it and doing it for my daughter. This is after trying ever single treatment out there. It's much healthier than Japanese straightening and I'm hearing amazing results so I am happy to share.

Try Magic Sleek at Something New Salon in Manalapan, NJ. Try to book with Olga. She is the owner and created the product. It’s an amazing product... did it about 3 times before I started covering my hair.

With Magic Sleek, I just air dryed and it was perfectly straight and silky. They have special products for aftercare which keeps the hair looking great for 6 months.

I have done keratin and it did nothing for me.
Will the other treatments you mentioned wash out?
