I'm looking to buy a present for my dh. I saw a nice wallet with a matching keyfob. Now I'm wondering what it is and how is it used. I want to know if it's something that is practical enough for my dh to use.

It looks like the key fob is simply decorative, to add a little TH pizzazz to his keyring.

If he tends to lose his keys, he might be able to keep track of them better if they are clipped to his money and credit cards.
I don't know how that would work in his pockets though. If the keys are dangling out, it would make it really easy to just lift the wallet out and steal it.
If he keeps it in a briefcase or backpack it would make a lot more sense.

It's a plain dumb key ring. "Fob" is just a snooty term for the tag. A tag is unnecessary but it does make it easy to distinguish whose keys are whose or house keys from work keys.
Some cars have a "fob" that remotely unlocks the doors or switches on lights, but this isn't one of those.

Nah not interesting and not worth the extra money. I thought maybe it's something to put on his belt but couldn't figure it out lol. Good I have imamother.
