I would like to make donut holes, or something similar at home, but not fry them. Is that possible?Recipes, anybody?

I would also love something like this. I've been craving the entenmanns glazed "pop ems". I used to have them as a kid. Haven't had in years (not cholov yisroel and not sure if they even exist anymore). I remember them being more of a cakey interior, not so much a doughnut, so I'm assuming I could bake something similar. If anyone had a copycat recipe for this I'd love it!
