Just make sure u freeze it without anything in it! The veggies get yucky!

bTW to spruce up the flavour when u reheat it. put in a raw chicken steak and boil it tillt he chciken's cooked. u can even diced upt he chicken to serve with the soup. it makes the flavour so much more rich!

to tell the truth I froze soup the month b4 my son was born my doc said he'd be early even though he wasn't so 5.5 months later I took it out for shabbos this week but we never got to the soup oh well.

Just make sure it is in a well sealed container. otherwise it will have a bit of a freezer taste.
I rarely freeze soup, usually only when its 3 days yom tov/ then I cook it on erev yom tov and freeze for the last night.

we don't eat soup in the summer, it's too hot. anyways fri nights we never eat much, fish and tons of salad but by the time it's time to serve the soup or chicken were too full and too tired, so lucky me I always have a sunday supper made in advanced
