I'm helping someone who sends out a weekly email to a few hundred people. Right now there are problems with sending to anyone who has a Yahoo address. I'm thinking of switching the organization's email to use Google Apps. Has anyone used this, or have other experience sending mass emails? If you've used it, do you have problems sending to Yahoo? How many people can you send to at once? If you use something else and you would recommend it, please let me know. Thanks!

You need to use a email service provider to send out bulk email. It is not legal to send out large number of emails using a regular email address with your ISP.
Using an email service provider will also help keep your email out of spam and will let you track how many of your emails are opened. I recommend http://www.sinaimail.com. I work for them. Please PM if you want more info.
