I’ve always wanted to try this ... how do you clean the cauliflower?

Disclaimer: Not everyone holds by this. Some rabbonim say that cauliflower is impossible to check, and only allowed if it is bodek and frozen.

What I do, is cut into all the florets, and give it a good visual inspection. Then I soak it in some salted water in a clear or white bowl. Remove the cauliflower and look for any bugs in the water. If no bugs, rinse the cauliflower under a strong faucet stream, and you're good to go.

I do the same thing with fresh broccoli (although I usually buy frozen, because in Israel fresh is hard to find and really expensive.)
