My dd10 is open to the idea of trying chicken.
She was a very picky eater and now is somewhat more open - but still picky.
With the exception of chicken nuggets, I don’t think she had had any chicken since she was 1 year old.
What is a super kid friendly chicken recipe that is likely to be a winner?

Is she sensitive to certain textures? If she's been having the processed chicken nuggets maybe she can switch to fresh schnitzel? If she doesn't like to chew too much maybe make your own nuggets with ground chicken.
So many variables. What's her sensitivity?

Is there a sauce or topping that yum put on chicken that she likes?
Marinara sauce, lemon flavored sauces, potato chips etc...if there’s a familiar taste with the chicken she may be more inclined to eat it again.

I put potato stix or crushed potato chips or pretzels or french fried onions as topping on egg dipped cutlets. Spray top with pam well bake.
My picky kids go for this.

Just season the chicken well so it takes good. Underneath the skin, top and bottom. Bake at 375 for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Salt, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder.

Unless she loves tuna salad, that is way too much going on.
I would stick with potato sticks/pretzels on cutlets, like someone said above.

Hard to answer without knowing in what way she is picky. Can you tell us some things that she does like to eat?

I'd start with chicken prepared similarly to the nuggets she enjoys, and cut it off the bone for her.

Alternatively, picky eating can just be a stubborn child. If she’s psyching herself up to eat and like the chicken maybe make the chicken you most often make.

I started with fried breaded chicken cutlets. At 1st I had to remove the crumbs for her, but by now she's okay with it. Then I went to the simplest chicken bottoms (think I started out with bible from chicken soup) and she bh eats it.
