Yes. I kasher and then cover with foil and then tape the foil on tightly with plastic waterproof tape. It stays on pretty well though not perfectly.

I cover because I am nervous to bump a hot pot against the faucet. The kashering can’t be done perfectly so I like to cover afterwards

Why cover fridge, freezer, oven handles?

My husband says handles are most commonly touched so more chance they were touched with chametz hands.🤷‍♀️

So are cabinet handles and walls and chairs but we just clean those we don't line them .

Ok... so maybe I should start a new thread asking- “how do you cover your sink handles... aside for foil and cloth”?

What if the faucet is plastic or other non-kasher’able material?
You can buy a replacement handle and swap it out before and after Pesach.

You need to specify which material the faucet is made of and whether it's kasherable. Ours are made of plastic (covered with a silver stainless steel look). We buy faucet covers in our local jewish book store.

We cover it with those shmattes they sell for it. I don't like them because they don't hold so well on our handles but maybe it has to do with the shape of the handles.

We cover all handles: oven knobs, oven handle, fridge and freezer handles, cabinet handles as well as the phone since we use it in the kitchen a lot and I want to be able to put it down on pesach'dige surfaces.

This is pretty universal in our circles.
