I've read through a few of the healthy supper threads... was hoping to start a new one for more ideas
I am 12 weeks PP bH. Looking for yummy healthy dinners I can make during the week.
Still trying to lose my baby weight so I've been staying away from carbs (pasta, potatoes etc).
Ive made schwarma, curry, kzitzot, fish, soups, grilled chicken, stir fry... but I'm running out of ideas!
I'm home from work around 5 so preferably something that doesn't need a lot to patchke!
Thanks!!

Falafel balls- for this carb free on salad. Every one else pita. Lots of salad on the side.
chicken breast with frozen veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, peppers, California blend) . This is my easiest, healthiest supper I make most often. Spread on a sheet pan. Spice and bake on high.
Salmon poke bowls over quinoa or cauliflower rice.

Roasted cabbage is a delicious side. You can use sliced or wedges (shredded probably wouldn't turn out so well) and toss with salt and olive oil. Roast in a 400 degree oven for 20-30 minutes.

- String beans with a little oil, everything spice and garlic salt in the oven on 425 for about 25 minutes
- Chicken drumsticks with spices and a little oil on top of sliced onions and garlic. I prepare this in a 9x13 the night before. In the morning I put in the oven on 350. When I get home I uncover it and raise the temp to 400 and set it to turn off after an hour. Leave the oven closed till it’s time to eat. It will stay warm.
- pizza on low carb wraps optional with roasted veggies on top
- shakshouka / omelettes / sunny side up
- meatballs with sauce.
- steaks with grilled veggies (peppers, mushrooms, onions...)
- Chanie Apfelbaum’s eggplant boats from millennial kosher. I use these as a carb free base for shakshouka, falafel with Israeli salad or just sauce and cheese for eggplant parmesan.
- taco meat with sautéed peppers, mushrooms, onions and salad and a low carb wrap. For the kids I do taco shells
Check out busy in Brooklyn. She’s got lots of great ideas
