I’m debating between the Hamilton beach personal blender (around $18) vs the ninja personal blender closer to 50$ plus
Can anyone give their recommendations?

I’d go better. Any cheaper blender I’ve gone with I’ve been disappointed with.
I was really excited when my $30 HB blender finally cracked. I splurged on a ninja ($80 1100 watt at BJs) you can’t compare. It actually crushes all ice. And pulverizes frozen fruit. And you don’t have to open and shake around the contents a few times for it to do something.
