How do I clear out my 3yo nose that is stuffed?

He may need antibiotics for a sinus infection. In the bath, gently use water and squeeze his nose. Teach him to blow his nose. I know some kids have a harder time than others.

Saline spray
Sit in a closed bathroom with the hot shower running until the steam loosens the mucus
Put vick vapor rub on his chest or the
bottoms of his feet and cover with socks
Run a cold air humidifier in his room at night

He refuses to stay in the bathroom when the shower is on. He thinks he is getting a shower

Spray a few drops of saline in each nostril, have him blow. Helps if you help close one nostril at a time with your finger to get more out. Saline gel helps to keep it lubricated, as does sesame oil (ENT’s advice).
