Colorado is a gorgeous state, especially in the summer, but it's big. It depends how long you're going for, what you like to do, what your budget is, and how self-sufficient you can be. Most people fly into Denver, where you can stock up on food at the East Side Deli and a few other options.
From there many head to Rocky Mountain NP (though check ticket requirements for this summer), often staying in the gateway town of Estes Park.
Other popular destinations are Vail, Aspen, Glenwood Springs, and Colorado Springs. Vail Chabad often has a summer minyan, and possibly Aspen; reach out to them in advance if that's important to you.
A bit farther away are some amazing national parks - Mesa Verde, Great Sand Dunes, and Black Canyon of the Gunnison.
It took us 3 different trips to hit all these places, so try to narrow it down based on your trip length and budget.

I absolutely adore Colorado in the summer! I was fortunate enough to win a trip to vail several summers ago and it was wonderful. Have a great trip!

We've gone twice in the summer. Vail and Aspen us beautiful. Also Colorado springs and the national park. You'll need three weeks to do it all!!
