I have noticed many times what appear to be soap bubbles in my cholent while it is cooking on Friday afternoon. Anyone had this or know what it might be?

It's not soap bubbles, it's just bubbling like all food does when boiling and cooking

The bubbles don't look like regular food bubbles - they are translucent but have a shiny rainbow sort of glint like soap bubbles.
Yes - I do soak them overnight before using
