Tuna
Eggsalad
Guacamole or sliced avocado
Sushi salad/kani salad
Farmer cheese and whipped cottage cheese mixed with chopped olives and tomatoes
A variety of cheeses
Variety of herring and crackers
Veggie sticks and dip
Cream cheese , lox and bagels

I like to make some sort of a main dish salad like Greek salad or salad nicoise. I have never made sushi salad but that works too. A fruit platter, and a nice dessert (cake, muffins, ice cream...) and Iced coffee (in summer).

Here are my shalosh seudos shortcuts

•Pasta salad•
Cook tri colored pasta
Rinse and drain
Pour Italian salad dressing over the pasta salad before serving

•Corn salad •
Open 2 cans of corn
Drain and pour corn into bowl
Cut up pickles into very small pieces
Add pickles to corn
Pour a little pickle juice into corn
Add a few spoons of mayonnaise
Add salt, black pepper and sugar
Mix
Serve cold

•Salad•
Buy a bag of pre checked Romain salad mix
Buy salad mate nish nosh or ceaser dressing
Pour dressing over salad
You can add nish nosh crackers on top if you like

Buy rolls
Have with some spreads and dips

Grapes
Cut up melons

Ice cream in the summer

For important guests bake a cheese cake

When all else fails, wash on a piece of matzah and eat a bowl of cereal
Or save some Gefilte fish for your shalosh seudos

This is really good
Basil Angel Hair Salad
1/3 cup olive oil
1 bunch scallion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2tsp salt
1tsp ground black pepper
4tbsp fresh basil chopped
3 tomatoes diced
1 (1lb) box angel hair pasta

heat olive oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add scallions, garlic, salt, pepper, basil and tomatoes and saute for five minutes. Set aside.
Cook pasta according to pacakge directions. Drain. Add scallion mixture to pasta and toss to combine.
