But that's just Hebrew vs English. Do they use less Hebrew in frum schools in the UK?
I went to Hebrew school in America and we said vowels and maybe a combination of final mem and mem sofit.

Coriander - cilantro
We also use "reckon" a lot more than we did in the northeast US. I suppose it might be used more in the south.
Aussies like to shorten words to no more than 2 syllables (and nickname things even when they were only two syllables to start with).
Aussie- Australian
Brekkie - breakfast
Avo - Avocado |
So then how woukd you say coriander?

I was just discussing with someone the difference in english/us with measurements. You measure in gallons, not litres, your tons are different to our tons. And there's a few more but I can't think right now.

Weight- kilo vrs pounds
millimeters vrs inches
Height- meters vrs inches/feet
Degrees- Celsius vrs Fahrenheit
