Hi-
I'm looking for a warm seminary with a dorm that is not in israel. For a relaxed almost bais Yaakov girl. So not very yeshivish, but something easy and frum and wholesome. Can be anywhere in USA. Any leads?
(Anonymous because have asked a lot of people irl.)

I don't know if that exists, tbh, outside of Israel. Because most girls who go to seminary outside of Israel are yeshivish (those who aren't mostly go straight to work or college).
That said, there are a few seminaries in NY and Lakewood. Not sure if Yavneh in Cleveland still exists. Unfortunately the one in Baltimore is only a post seminary program now. That probably would have been the closest to what you are looking for.

Thank you. What is the one in toronto called? So hard to google these things as "seminary" usually ends up being Christian theological school, which of course is not what we are looking for.

I know someone who went a few years ago, it may be what you are looking for. The girl I know enjoyed the sem but she lived too far away to go home on a regular basis so it was hard for her. Most of the girls who were in the dorm came from Lakewood so they went home a number of times during the year. I'm pretty sure they included a few week tour to E"Y - not sure what happened during Corona.

Not true. It isn't a seminary, but a girl can go right out of high school.
