I'm making upsherin and looking for an appropriate place to make it. My apt is too small and don't have family or friends that can host . I'm looking for either an appropriate size hall , around 50 ppl, or a resteraunt party room or even a shul...
Anyone have any ideas ? Can be boro park or Flatbush.

There's Hoopla in Boro Park. They have game room and party room rental. Never tried them, just saw them advertised.
They even have an option of having event catered. Check their website.

palace cafe on nostrand ave has a small hall in the basement, I don't remember what it's called
there are lots of shuls that have simcha halls in their basements that aren't so big

Many restaurants have party rooms. Call around for menu and pricing.
In Boro park Spoons has a party room.

Pescada in Flatbush also has a party room at the dairy location. (Not sure about the meat location)
