I had fond memories of going as a child, as did DH, so we went again as adults a few years ago and were very disappointed. It was so commercialized. The entrance fee wasn't cheap and yet every performer had a hat out collecting money. There were a lot of bawdy jokes and references in the skits. The women were all showing tons of cleavage and many men were pretty much bare chested. The crowd was not very refined, to say the least. I would not bring impressionable children, that's for sure.

It is a gross, low class atmosphere. Left as fast as my legs could carry me.
