Why wouldn’t you be allowed to? (Asking seriously, no snark intended)

You are supposed to do grooming needs before yomtov. However, if a hair grew on yomtov and it bothers you, that sounds like a different story.

Interesting….I never heard this before. I assume Mikva prep is a different story.

We hold that women may shave/tweeze/remove hair on chol hamoed as needed.

Had this question myself. (mine was about epilating, but basically, a woman removing body hair)

Mishna Beruah says it's ok, but adds "tzaruch iyun" - meaning poskim should decide individually.

I asked my rav, he said it was ok. (I'm of a yeshivish hashkafa)

Ask yours.

I definitely did before Yom Tov, but a couple of hairs on my chinny-chin-chin had the nerve to grow!
I will ask DH to help me find the source in Mishnah Berurah, thank you to all who replied!

FYI DH told me just call a Rov!
Rav Simcha Bunim Cohen shlita said it's fine (note: I told him I did take care of it before YT, I don't know if that makes a difference.)
