As you can tell by the forum, I work from home. Sometimes there's great momentum, and other times I struggle to stay motivated.
Any tips or tricks to stay motivated when you're the boss?

I dont work for myself. Many companies I work with have daily stand ups. Its a 15 minute meeting in the morning where you figure out today's goals.
Open a word document and write down today's goals. See how much you can accomplish.
I also set alarms to eat lunch and stop to prepare dinner. It works most days.

I am working from home now, temporarily.
I put music on, I write a list at the start of the day of what I need to accomplish and take care of.
I break for lunch
But I also have lots of zoom meetings so I get to “see people” and work with others as if I was in the office.
My work takes lots of focus and concentration so for me music really helps for that.

I like the idea of setting a timer.
My work requires focused thinking and concentration but I actually find music distracting. What type of music do you listen to, thunderstorm?

If I have work I’m motivated to work as well as so my chores around the house. If I don’t have much I get lazy to want to do anything around the house.
