last year I planned to save the grocery receipt and write a list based on that. I forgot though, and threw it out.
this is what I came up with motzei pesach.
Grocery List
Torino Pareve
Rosemarie Pareve
Case apple juice
Case seltzer
Strawberry yogurt
Matches
Milk
Candles – large
Besomim
9x13 pans
Dish soap
Baby wipes
Potato starch
Sugar
20 potato chips
Band aids
12 dozen eggs
2 prune juice
Fruit snacks
Small moisturizing cream
Small diaper cream
iirc, last year downsydrome posted a really, mega detailed list of everything you could possibly need. look for it.

I also have a list of reminders - just things that went wrong the year before and need to be rectified in the future, or general reminders of things that I tend to forget from year to year. So I had this great laugh before when I opened that document (all my Pesach lists are on my computer) to check how much matzoh my husband should purchase, as he has an appt. at the matzoh bakery this afternoon, and I saw the comment that I had written next to my Pesach cake recipe: It said "When baking Pesach nut cakes remember that Shiya (my 8-year-old) loves the nut cakes and he eats up everything that I bake having XXXX (husband) in mind!"
