I actually think there was a little section on this if I remember correctly in the Family First at some point not too long ago. Does anyone have that section that can post it would be such a big mitzvah. Or if not any suggestions for transforming pareve soy ice cream into something more exciting and exactly how to do it (let it defrost?)?
TIA!

Crushed cookies, brownie crumbs, peanut butter, Choco chips, Lotus cream, chocolate fudge, chopped nuts
Let the ice cream soften and then mix in.

I put the ice cream in the fridge for 15 min, then scoop out into a big bowl. Add any of the following: cookie or cake crumbles (crushed up sandwich cookies, leftover brownies from the freezer), syrup (chocolate, caramel, strawberry), chocolate chips, small candies, rainbow sprinkles, freeze-dried fruit. Mix gently until the toppings are evenly distributed but you can still see swirls (don’t mix in all the way). Scoop ice cream back into container or individual cups (can even sandwich between cookies or brownies at this point) and freeze. So easy!

someone posted this and its delicious!
Razzle pie
plain vanilla ice cream and break in black oreo cookies
2 large tablespoon honey
4 big squirts chocolate syrup
1/2 cup peanut butter.
Let ice cream defrost a bit then add all ingredients and mix well. Pour into Graham pie crust and top with chopped Viennese crunch. Cover with the crust cover-down side up and freeze.
I do this without the crust.

We actually like it fruity. I do it in the food processor, working quickly so the icecream doesn't defrost, to keep the consistency.
Our favorites are:
1-2 kiwis
OR
1/2 cup frozen strawberries, pureed
OR
1/4 frozen cranberries, with a little sugar added for sweetness
I often do two different ones - like cranberries and kiwi - and put a scoop of each into a martini glass, and garnish with some chopped fresh kiwi. So pretty and refreshing.
