Just doing a declutter in my house and im up to my fridge. Ive been spending so much money on storage bins around the house but it makes such a difference. Just wondering, I see online many poeple keep fridge bins to divide fruits and other produce.
any advise?

I keep a couple of open bins for fruits/veggies, as well as a closed bin that the kids know is off limits that my husband uses for his work drinks/lunches.
And yes, it helps - especially the one for my husband - as it makes things easier in the morning rush for him. The fruit/veggie ones means the kids have those things front and center and are more likely to see them (and hopefully eat them) when they go rummaging for food.

I use existing drawers and shelves to organize. I happen to have a lot of small door shelves and such so it works well.

I just started to. I found it keeps the fridge cleaner and the clutter down

I tried to but it makes the Tetris of putting away leftovers, prepped lunches for the next day, and erev shabbos/Yom tov orders harder.
I stick to using the drawers that come with the fridge and the shelves on the doors, the rest of the space I really need to be able to move around.

I always think storage bins look good when new and fill and just another item to clean when empty and gets grungy

I don’t have many drawers snd my fridge is small.
I find it helpful for keeping items together. Like yogurts, dairy - cheese, spreads, and deli items.

I don’t. The contents of the fridge are always changing, and bins limit what can fit in. The only time I use boxes is in transition before Pesach, when the fridge is clean for Pesach but we still have some chometzdik perishables. I put them in shoe boxes if I have any, and then recycle the boxes when no longer needed.

I only have a couple on a shelf that is short and food could easily get pushed back then forgotten.
