I'm divorced and live back at my parents home.
I have a small room and I'm trying to think how I can make it nice and cosy. I love my room and it's my only option now even though it's small, because I have privacy here.
I don't think of moving out now but I find that I want my room to look more mature and I am looking to redecorate.
I don't want to spend much, rather some small things that I can add. I don't plan on painting now or buying new furniture. I bought a new fluffy carpet and got new linnen recently but I don't feel like it's enough.
I would spend up to a few hundred dollars but looking for idea's of small things that could make a huge difference and a new fresh look.
Please practical idea's only!

Do you have room for a chair?
A new lamp
Faux or real plants
A new mirror
A framed painting or other piece of art

Updating the walls and window treatments can really change the space. Temporary wall paper can be an option. Also I wouldn’t rule out painting, if it’s a small room it shouldn’t be too costly

thanks for all the idea's
It's a little complicated to make major changes and I'm also scared to do so...
I will try maybe to think again about painting
I love the idea of a new lamp did not think about it and maybe will buy new curtains...
If anyone comes up with any other idea's would love to hear!
