It's similar to a jetski or motorcycle but on snow. It's a ton of fun! The safety depends on what kind of trails you'll be going on and at what speed.

I did it in Utah. It is not for the faint of heart. If you're brave and adventurous- it's like riding a motorcycle up and down mountains. The place I went didn't let me practice first, so I was terrified the whole time.
