She has been trained a few years back and never had a problem at night. Recently she is having accidents almost every night. I make sure she uses the bathroom before bed and she seems embarrassed/tries to hide it. Any experience or ideas to help her?

Strep, uti, mouth breathing from enlarged tonsils/adenoids often related to allergies

This happened to my daughter after we had a traumatic event in the family. I do not think she was conscious at all of how the trauma was affecting her. After a few weeks of normalcy and much reassurance that the danger had passed it stopped. She was also 7 and completely night trained and dry for almost 4 years already.

I have a client (7 y.o.) who never is dry at night because of chronic constipation.

Get an Rx for Desmopressin! (Spelling?) it was LIFESAVING and I wish someone had told us about it years ago! It’s not his fault, and until his body matures in this area, the accidents pile so much shame onto the poor kid!

If a kid regresses they should try to figure out why.
