my 16 month old is very cute when he wants something he just opens his mouth and screams turning red and purple he also throws himselve on the floor and then he forgets what he is upset about and starts to lick the floor. hum the floor must taste real good. this bad habit was started when it rained and he fell down and he licked the wet floor. now he does it to all floors. its a good way to get him to forget about his temper.

Anyways guys, I found a solution... from cr2005 thank you...you would distract your daughter with dancing. so now whenever eh starts a tantrum I pick him up, even if he is squirming and kiss him everywhere, especially on his stomach, he starts to giggle and totally forgets why he was throwing a tantrum. For now it is working, and once he is older I could try incorperate all the other great tips suggested.
