like an electric current
um...that scared me a little
it's something he said happened in the past a few times and recently a few times
anyone ever hear of such a thing?

He can be describing migraines or ear pain.

I had a similar sensation for a few days leading up to getting Bells Palsy. It came along with terrible ear pain, jaw pain, altered taste buds (a metallic taste). Then after a few days, I got paraLysis on one side of my face - that was the Bells Palsy.

Actually, I also had throat pain a week and half before the Bells Palsy.

Me and my sister had this growing up. It feels like an electric current running from my neck to the head.
As far as I know it was nothing.
