I actually have a bin for floor puzzles, and each puzzle in that bin is in a ziplock. In the ziplock is also a piece of the box, so you can see which puzzle it will form.

My nephews come to my house, they bring up the bin, and have an assortment of puzzles to play with...and clean up and put back the same way. It's neat and functional.

Same.
Sterilite container with a dozen ziplocks, each with the puzzle piece, the box cover cut out nicely, and the number of pieces written on the back of the cover doesn’t specify.

we store our puzzles in shallow clear bins. I cut off the side of the original box and stick it on the inside of the clear container so that we know which puzzle is in each container without having to pull them out.

That’s what I use. They work great. I use them for board games as well.
