We're all rather short in my family.

Can anyone recommend a machine that just does hems?

I distinctly remember a classmate of mine (20 years ago) had a machine in her house that was NOT a sewing machine; it just did hems.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

I'd love to do my own skirts, and my DH's and kids' pants.

I feel like it was a SUPER simple machine...that one looks kind of complicated...

Is there anything simpler?

Or anything tried and true and foolproof?

What is a blind hemming machine?
A blind hem machine will only perform the blind hem stitch and no other which is found on dresses, skirts and trouser legs. The blind hemmer creates its stitch by the needle moving from side to side rather than up and down which a conventional sewing machine would do.
