Lulu clothing has an amazing fit. Junee jr also carries lots of swing style dresses. I have to shorten them all- but they are preety & she feels
Good wearing them- which is the most important part.

Me too.
I also have one. She is currently in Sem. She is the most amazing beautiful girl-inside and out. Super competent, mature, thoughtful, smart, hardworking. I just hope the boys (and their mothers) can see past that she is not a size 2. I have so much anxiety-not about her finding the right boy, that is from Hashem, but about the heartache and self esteem.

op- please don't worry now about what will be in the future.
I have a very slim cousin who was chubby as a child. you would never guess. Some kids start eating less as they get older, others just slim out as they grow and others just grow in to their size. My daughter is a preteen and she weighs more then I did when I went for my first prenatal appointment of my last child. she's tall for her age, broad shouldered and solid, I really don't think she looks fat and I don't get the impression that feels fat either. I think she has a beautiful not size 0 figured and that's totally ok. I feel like with frum stores sometimes it feels like they expect kids and teens to be very skinny but that's just one type of figure, there are many beautiful healthy figures.

Sometimes, yes. I have found dresses at walmart, target and old navy last year beginning of school. I haven't found too much yet but I just started looking for spring.

Btw, Walmart and Justice for bathing suits.
Important information. They are age appropriate and will fit!

O yes, I will deff need to take her bathing suit shopping as I have always misjudged her sizing. Thanks for the tip.

I find most of the styles posted will just make her look huge. No to seersucker. This looked great as it runs wide and is a stiff fabric. I generally go for straighter a-line styles since they are more flattering and easier to work with.

I agree. We do the same with aline styles in good fabrics so that it's flattering and simple to hem.
