Anyone in the ny area put in an above ground pool recently?
I'm trying to get a feel for the true cost.
I see online from reputable sites that I can get a large pool (16x32 feet) for about 3k.
But the nice pictures online all have a deck floor built around it, making it look inground-and I would want that...
Anyone ever do this that can tell me how much it cost? I would consider doing floor deck on only one or 2 sides if necessary.
Just trying to get a basic idea of whatbthe cost would run, before I seriously entertain the idea

My parents put in an above ground pool years ago. The actual pool wasn't expensive. Like 2.5k or 3k but the deck around cost almost 3x that amount since it was circle and each piece of wood had to be cut on an angle. We also put wood going upwards 8 feet so we had a mechitza.

Regardless of the deck, the installation is expensive. Leveling and constructing the pool is costly. Speak to an installer for a quote for your project.
