Does anyone have any good ideas for cleaning my light colored leather couch. It doesn't get too much abuse, but it is used every single day by us, the kids , the kids put their feet up, etc. It gets a basic cleaning with Pledge spray and a cloth once a week, but I've noticed that there is ground in dirt, like it's stuck in the cracks of the leather. I mixed some warm water with mild dishwashing liquid, wiped, and it helped somewhat , but you can still see it's not 100% clean. Any suggestions??

My cleaning lady would clean it weekly with Mr. Clean (lemon - smells good!) She would rub it hard with a shmatta- that seems to work. I use Windex when I'm in a rush.
And Lucky is right - I moved a year ago and bought dark material couches - much easier with kids.

for the record I did not buy the couch, it was a present from my hub's boss. I personally would never buy light colored, and now I know why.

I also have these kind of couches - gift from inlaws. I use furniture polish. It cleans well and gets into all the cracks. A bonus is that the couches are smooth and shiny, the kids use them as slides!! LOL!

I think with leather you have to clean it every so often with proper leather stuff, I would go to a leather couch shop and ask them.
