Because It's a pushed off fast, are we (if we feel like it) allowed to eat chicken tonight or is it better to wait till tomorrow.

Not allowed tonight, even on nidche. No music either, no wine.
Showering, laundry, everything else is permitted tonight.

DH learned that you can’t have basar, but you can have a “tavshil shel basar”. Which may include chicken soup. Ask your LOR.
