I'm pretty I learned that after using bathroom you wash left left right right.
Whenever DH sees me doing that he can't get over it. He keeps saying I do it wrong. He says you always start with right hand...

Does anyone know the actual Halacha?

The kitzur shulchan aruch says to pick up the cup in the right hand, pass it to the left, and then wash the right hand first.

Hi I actually just wash with soap after the bathroom. No washing cup.
Please don't take this as a heter as I never asked if it was ok.

I stick my hands under the water with soap on them. I guess this isn't helpful.

It is halacha, yes.

In a pinch, you can turn on and off the faucet instead of using a cup, because the pouring has to man-powered. But that's only in the situation that you don't have a cup available, from what I know.

From the OU SITE
Misconception:[1] Upon exiting a bathroom, one should wash by pouring water from a keli (utensil) three times on each hand.

Fact: There is an obligation to wash after using the bathroom (Shulchan Aruch OC 4:18), but three times is not specified, and a keli is not required.

Doesn't really work because you also need a keili and pipes are not
But I do think after bathroom is based on Kabalah and not actually halacha, I'm not sure though
It's definitely something I need to work on!

No, the halacha is that you have to wash your hands. With soap is fine. Some wash with a cup, but that's not the halacha.
