My mimi is not Miriam. Her younger sister is Miriam. Mimi was mimi years before Miriam was born. Her uncommon name probably recognizable to at least a few pwople here, hence imamother

My brother's name in Matti and his full name is Mattityahu. I believe the name Moti usually comes from Mordechai.

Well, I am a Miriam and was called Mimi until I was about 10 and then I decided that I was too old for that! So, for all those who are nervous, they'll probably grow out of it. Also, however, in school, I was called Miriam. But then again, I went to public school so they probably didn't know the nickname for it!
